| The Chrysler Chronos
This Chrysler concept car is typically American in its sleekness and large grill but does exhibit some more exotic characteristics. An almost European detail in the wheels and mixture of strong lines with smooth form make this car different to many existing models. The grill used here is based on traditional Chrysler concept grills and harks back to the 1955 Falcon concept. Along with the genes passed down from the Falcon, it also bears some resemblance to an even earlier concept, the 1953 Special. The Special was built by Ghia and is similar in the structure of the grill and bonnet and particularly similar in the use of prominent rear fenders.

| The interior of the Chronos is surprisingly conventional. Whilst it is not especially futuristic or abstract like some concepts, it is much more likely that this style will make the transition to production sooner rather than later. | ![]() |
